The Rover #11

The "Rover" was built in 1886 by Thompson Brothers of Chester, Maryland. She was a work boat, and in 1902, a motor was installed in her. In the early 1970's, she was bought by Marion "Juni" Marxhall, Jr. of St. Michaels, Maryland, who rebuilt her for sailing and racing her until the mid-1980's. The "Rover" is now resting Mr. Mashall's back yard, waiting for the right person to restore her.
